"Dogs feel very strongly that they should always go with you in the car, in case the need should arise for them to bark at nothing right in your ear." - Unknown "You can keep a dog, but it is the cat who keeps people because cats find humans useful, domestic animals."- George Mikes
(With all of the "Designer Breeds" popping up, we thought we'd design some of our own - check out their "breed" when you read their stories!)

Our official "Miss Alli's" mascot...
ROCKY!!!!
Rocky is our official rescue mascot, as he was with us for 3yrs with only one inquiry. Because no one gave him a chance we had the opportunity to fall head over heels in love with him. As a result, he will stay here and represent what Miss Alli's Rescue is all about...LOVE and DEVOTION...and someone else will miss out on a fabulous dog. But that's ok...it just means more love for us...and what a joy that is! Rocky is a good, good boy, and we truly treasure him. ***This is not uncommon for large, black dogs, and they are the MOST EUTHANIZED dogs in pounds and shelters!! Rocky is an outstanding dog who we absolutely adore, but most likely would have been dead had he been in a shelter. Would this not have been a terrible shame?***
