Will was a pound puppy who was sick with demodectic mange and slated to be destroyed (you can see pics of him to the right of how he looked the day we picked him up). We fell in love with his sweet face and precious disposition, and knew we couldn't let that happen. So we latched on to him, brought him into rescue and began treatment. It's been all smiles for Will ever since!

Will is around a year and a half old and a happy, goofy, energetic lab/pit (& some giraffe!) mix. He's a large boy at about 70lbs, as his legs tend to go on for days in length! We do feel certain that he's part Lab, part pit, part Giraffe! Those legs never end! He puts them to good use, however, jumping and hopping, playing hard and giving great hugs. He is so full of love that we are so grateful that he came into rescue. Will is our little Waggle Boy...waggling meaning he wags his entire body and never stops! He wags and wags and wags...then wags some more! Happy, happy boy!!

This sweetheart has been through so very much but has come through with flying colors and a tremendous grin on his face. He is always cheerful and grateful for the wonderful life he's been given, and his coat is always shiny and beautiful, despite the demodex! Will is a special needs boy, however, as he is very afraid of men, afraid of children, and pretty shy when he first meets people. He would do best in a female home or with a man who would be willing to take a great deal of time with him and be very patient. Will is afraid when he leaves his foster home, and had to adjust to trips to Petsmart, but we are working on making this easier and more comfortable for him. He does enjoy it and relax, however, when he's there for a few minutes. He is great when people come to visit, and enjoys the attention they give him. Although afraid initially, once Will warms up to you, he is so much fun and has an overabundance of love to give. He is devoted and committed to loving his family, and will give lots of kisses to show you.

Will does well with dogs, although he can be a tad dominant with some. He adores other animals and will play and kiss on them for hours on end. Will also likes to know that you love him, and when you tell him...he waggles!! He is such a delightful little guy that we know, if given the chance, you'll fall in love. Will deserves a loving and devoted, forever home, and we look forward to finding that home for him. So if you think you would like to make sweetie Will a part of your family, be sure to let us know!
