Keely!

(A Pyradore!)

Meet Miss Keely, a beautiful Great Pyrenees/Labrador mix. Keely and her sisters came to us underweight, covered in fleas, terrified and in poor condition, very afraid of people. Since then, Keely has grown into a lovely lady with a gorgeous white coat, an adorable smile, and weighing 58lbs at 7 1/2 months old (January 1, 2010).

Keely is best recognized for her beautiful eyes. They demonstrate such an enormous amount of expression that you can't help but melt right into them. She looks at you with those soft chocolate eyes and you immediately want to give her everything she asks for. She's pretty irresistible!

Keely does well with both dogs and cats, but she can be a dominant female, true to the Pyrenees breed. She would love another canine friend, however, as she's never been without one, but it would be best for it to be a male. She loves to play with her buddies and gallivant around the yard with her toys. As a result she'll need a fenced in yard and to be walked on a leash whenever out of the fenced yard. Due to her Great Pyrenees heritage, she can be a roamer and not come when called, so the fence is a must.

Keely is a typical puppy and loves to play, act silly, throw her toys around, and even get into things that she shouldn't. Sometimes it's hard to remember that she's just a pup because of her large size, but she most certainly is and has all of the typical, silly, puppy antics. Due to her background she is shy upon initially meeting people, so she'll need some understanding upon the transition into her new home. She has not been around children, but due to her fears of the past, it would probably be best if any children were older and understood the need to patience with Keely's adjustment into her new family. Once she's certain that she's safe, however, she'll open up and you'll see her wonderful disposition.

Keely will make a super addition to any family and will grow into a stunning and devoted adult. If you'd like to meet Keely and consider her for a forever family member, please let us know!
